Sort of sad to be pulling apart this deck made of IPE. Its sub construction was poor, and things left in the ground allowed for a fairly major termite issue.

We did, however, get to pick up a new tool! If you have ever worked with this hardwood before, you know how tough it is and how it hangs on to screwes and fasteners tightly.
